What is Meditation?
Simply, meditation is a mental exercise that strengthens your awareness, mindfulness, and higher consciousness. Typically, meditation is practiced to help deepen the understanding of life and its transcendent forces.
Meditation can also be practiced to reduce stress, relieve anxiety, and improve emotional wellbeing. Regular practice of meditation has been scientifically proven to reduce age-related memory loss, help fight addictions, improve sleep, help control pain, and decrease blood pressure.
First and foremost, it is important to understand that meditation is NOT meant to clear your thoughts. In fact, it is the opposite. In order to meditate, you must focus and ponder on something. Think of the word meditation as a synonym for the word concentration. For example, in order to use mediation to reduce anxiety, you have to concentrate on calming down and relaxing.
Secondly, there is no right or wrong way to meditate. A “good” meditation is different for everyone; no two people have the same experience. Meditating with Crystals
As you may have guessed, meditating with crystals is an excellent way to elevate your vibration and boost self-awareness! Using the power that crystals hold can completely alter, in a good way, what you experience during meditation. Here are a few different methods to meditate with crystals.
Chakra Healing
My most favorite way to meditate with crystals is through the chakras. It is believed that chakras reflect how consciousness is divided to manage different aspects of life. For instance, each chakra emits a different energy frequency that is in direct correlation to your organ function, immune system, and emotions. Therefore, using a crystal with a similar energy vibration to the chosen chakra will boost healing and balance in that area of life.
Begin by lying or sitting down and place the crystal on the corresponding chakra. Then, focus on your breathing. Next, feel the frequency of the crystal flow into your body. For example, if you chose to meditate with a Smokey Quartz crystal, you would place it on your root chakra and embrace the feelings of grounding, stabilization, and centering. Visualize that feelings such as stress, fear, jealousy, anger, and depression are being absorbed by the crystal and flowing out of your body.

Hold it in Your Left Hand
A very simple way to meditate with crystals is by holding it in your left hand. The left hand is positively charged which sends and gives energy. Simply, hold the crystal in your left hand and focus on the energy it offers.
For example, if you chose to meditate with Tree Agate, start by holding the crystal in your left hand . Next, focus on your breath. Finally, embrace the feeling of deep connection with the earth and imagine the flow of money and prosperity coming to you with ease.
Keep the Crystal Close
An extremely simple way to meditate with crystals is by placing them next to you or around you.
Start by closing your eyes. Then, focus on your breath and visualize the healing energy flowing into your body. For example, if you were to choose Citrine, Pyrite and Rose Quarts you would sit with your eyes closed and visualize a white light coming from the crystals and being projected onto you. Finally, embrace the different flows of energy and absorbed them into your body; Citrine for happiness and abundance, Pyrite for confidence and vitality, and Rose Quartz for love and gratitude.
