The Perfect Spiritual Nighttime Routine
My nighttime routine is very special to me because I combine the two things I love: spirituality and beauty. I do this routine every single night no matter how late it is or how tired I am. I have designed my night routine to cleanse unwanted energies that I have absorbed throughout the day while keeping my skin glowing and healthy. This nighttime routine will make you radiate with a glow of positivity!
My Nighttime Routine
Tea
The very first thing I do to initiate my night routine is make a nice cup of tea. This kicks off my routine because of a special little spell add to it; I stir my tea clockwise for positivity, counterclockwise for banishment, or in a pentacle for general enchantment. I sip on this enchanted tea as I perform my routine.
Personally, I prefer caffeine-free teas at night as I want to be soothed and relaxed. Quick tip, because I drink my tea slowly throughout this routine I use a lid to keep it warm. Here are some of my favorite teas along with some accessories!
Shower
Next, I take a relaxing hot shower. If you are going to take anything from this routine, take this! In my opinion, a shower is like a reset button. Not only does it cleanse the dirt and germs you have been in contact with throughout the day but it also can be a powerful energy cleanser with the use of creative visualization.
As the water hits my body, I visualize that all the negativity I have been in contact with throughout the day gets rinsed away, goes down the drain, and away from my space. When I wash my body I imagine that I am scrubbing off stubborn negativity. I use this time to let go of all that doesn’t serve a positive purpose for me.
Once a week I dry brush BEFORE I hop into the shower. Dry brushing can reduce cellulite, eliminate dead skin, enhances blood circulation, cleanses the lymphatic system, promotes even fat distribution, enhances nutrients absorption by the skin, rejuvenates the nervous system, and tighten skin! Once I am in the shower I use Origins body wash; not only does it cleanse while keeping your skin moisturized, but it also blocks oxidation to combat aging. I prefer a two-sided loofah with a grip so I can get a better grasp which equals a better cleanse.
Skin Care
Next is skincare which is something I take extremely seriously as I want to delay aging as long as I can. As I apply my skincare I envision that everything I am putting on my skin is replenishing the positive energy within me. Also, I whisper to myself all the things I am grateful for in my life and what is to come.
Skincare:
This is for all you beauty junkies! First, I remove any makeup, dirt, and oil with a Face Halo. Second, I massage Josie Maran oil cleanser on dry skin for 2 minutes to really work out any leftover makeup, dirt, and oil; I then wet my Clarisonic with warm water and let it work its magic for an even deeper cleanse; finally, I rinse off the oil cleanser and pat my skin dry. The next step is to tone, I enjoy the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner because it adds moisture instead of stripping your skin. Then, I pat in the Kate Summerville +Retinol Vita C Serum. Next, I gently massage the It Confidence in a Cream moisturizer and I dab on the Kiehl’s Avocado Creamy Eye Treatment; I let all that soak in before I apply the oils. Lastly, I mix two drops of the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate with a drop of Josie Maran Argan Oil and Trilogy Rosehip Oil and pat it into my skin. Remember to bring everything down to your neck and chest!
Body Care:
I apply the Neutrogena body oil straight after the shower while my skin is still wet/damp, then I let the oil dry with my skin. This body oil is a fucking game changer!!…quick to apply and it absorbs into the skin leaving you with hydrated skin! During the winter months, I like the layer the Josie Maran body butter where my skin gets extra dry such as my elbows, knees, and feet. This is a very rich moisturizer and will make your skin glow with hydration. As I apply these products I visualize that I am applying a sort of shield to protect myself from negative energy, thoughts, and intentions.
After all my body and skincare products are absorbed, I put on some comfy pajamas and continue with the rest of my routine.
Yoga
Before I get into bed I like to practice yoga. I practice for about 10 minutes which I feel is a reasonable amount of time and leaves no excuse to not do it. Not only does yoga help me get a good stretch before sleep but it also puts me in a deep meditative mindset for the remainder of my nighttime routine.

Tarot or read
After I practice some yoga, I get into bed and either read my cards or read a book.
As you may have guessed, I use the goddess deck and I journal my readings so that I can keep track and reference past readings. I have included two of my favorite journals that I use to keep track of all my readings. I read my cards as a way to tap into my own wisdom and intuition leading to more powerful manifestations and positive changes in my life.

If I don’t read my cards, I read a book for 20-30 minutes. I love to read before bed as it helps me relax and brings about inspiration.
Journaling
If I have some extra time after reading, I will spend a few minutes doing some journaling. I do both guided and free journaling depending on my mood. I very much believe in the power of journaling as it helps you reflect and see what changes need to be made in your life. Journaling is tremendously helpful with healing and can help you realize emotions that have been buried inside you.
These are the two journals I am currently using:
Oral Hygiene
I know it might seem weird to add in this step but I do something very important, in my opinion, when I brush my teeth. Basically, I visualize that I am removing negative words that are on the tip of my tongue so that only positivity comes out of my mouth. This may seem like a small step but small details make a HUGE difference!
These are all the products I use at night for healthy white teeth:
Meditation
Lastly, I lay down and meditate. Depending on my mood and what I want to meditate on, I either do a guided meditation or free meditation. Typically, I practice meditation to help deepen my understanding of life and its transcendent forces. I also use meditation to reduce stress, relieve anxiety, and improve emotional wellbeing.
